Refund policy

Before work begins

If you have paid and we have not yet started editing, tell us and we refund you in full. No conditions, no explanation required.

Once editing has begun

Retainer payments are not refundable once work on a deliverable has started. Editing is time already spent, and that time cannot be recovered.

This is why two rounds of revisions are included in every tier. If a cut is not right, we fix it — that is the remedy, rather than a refund.

If we cannot deliver

If we fail to deliver what was agreed, or we end the engagement ourselves, we refund the portion of the retainer covering undelivered work.

Cancelling a retainer

A retainer can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the current billing month. The month already paid for runs to its end, and we deliver what it covers.

We do not bill partial months in arrears, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
